Shari Bumpus was reportedly last seen around February 6, 2012 in the Eugene, Oregon, region. Her half-sister reported her missing, telling the authorities that the 25-year-old woman may be homeless, as she was thrown out of her last housing arrangement. She appears to be a fan of the Pacific Northwest subculture—and is described as frequently changing her hair from shaved bald to dyed in various hues. It's quite possible that she could be safe somewhere, simply homeless and out of reach of communicative devices.
It's been a month, however, and that is never a good sign when a woman (or anyone else) goes missing. Shari Bumpus has various online profiles and appears to be just like any other young, modern woman. However, it appears that she has somehow vanished without a trace. Even though she is reported to have vanished in February, it's apparent that she wasn't very active on her Facebook account after August of 2011. So, it's difficult to gauge if she had any recent online contacts aside from adding new friends.
Eugene, Oregon, is a colorful region loved by nature-admirers who travel up and down the Pacific coast for the weather, atmosphere, and those of like minds. Could it be possible that this young woman is at any of the environmentalist camps? Also, her Facebook page makes note that she is a mother of a young child. Where is this child?
