Lea Michele has once again been cited by the Fashion Police for what she wore. But this controversial outfit was not put on her rocking body for Glee or for the red carpet either. What the singing actress donned was for an advertisement.
The advertisement was made to represent Candies, with Lea shown in a pin-up pose while sitting on a counter in the middle of a retro kitchen. She was pictured in provocative white shorts and a sexy top and a pair of clunky open toed heels, all made by Candies.
The judges on the E! Entertainment show discussed Michele in a new segment on the program called "Ad Sanity."
That said, what really bothered one of these arbiters was the fact that the pair of shoes the raven beauty was hawking did not fit her. Kelly Osbourne said, "Why would you put someone in shoes that look like they are too big for them?"
Guest arbiter Jonathan Adler, a well-known stylist, couldn't help but comment that when he saw the picture of this Glee star on Fashion Police, he thought the advertisement was to sell To Catch A Predator.
Giggles could be heard all around the panel, but calmed down when Adler said that Lea Michele could wear a garbage bag and she would "look great."
Not everyone agreed, but Giuliana Rancic did say that the celebrity in this particular pose "is hysterical."
Hysterical, maybe, but does the person who styled this shot of Lea Michele that had her cuffed by the Fashion Police need to rethink what she or he is doing? Probably so.
That said, whether Candies will pull this particular picture of the Glee star is not known at this time.
