Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day! For most that means time to go get trashed or wasted on Green beer. But not for me and my family. My baby girl is 4 years old tomorrow!!! I am one very proud mom. I would rather spend the day making her day amazing than celebrate St. Pat day anyday. She has beaten the odds the last 4 years and held on strong with all her CF complications. This past year she has done pretty amazing. Still does not need her hearing aids, although we are checking that again soon due to a tube is coming out of one ear and causing some hearing loss again but that's ok we dont mind. She was only hospitalized 1 time this past year for a few days due to CF which from all my friends who have CF kids and family say that's amazing.
Right now she is a pretty happy go lucky type of girl, even with having lots of colds lately that hasn't stopped her from being outgoing and a normal 3 almost 4 yr old. She is finishing her first year of regular preschool, the past 2 years she was in a special education classroom due to her hearing they wanted to start her early. Now she is with the regular class 95% of the time and only gets pulled for speech which she loves. Tomorrow is her big party, all our family and friends are coming over to celebrate her day. And then afterwards my Fiance wants to surprise her with dinner at Amazing Pizza Machine. So we will have a fun filled day and I will hopefully take plenty of pictures to show you guys.
Got to run to store to get everything for her Dora cake and cupcakes, going to bake today and prolly ice them tomorrow. :)
