I doubt if The UK is doing any better handling their economy. One thing they've done right was by not joining The Euro Monetary Union. Four years ago, I discovered with shock that there were homeless in Great Britain. Sleeping in railroad stations. Underneath overpasses. Pensioners riding long distance buses wearing their entire wardrobe, and smelling faintly of human excrement, evidence of diahrea from am erratic diet. They had student riots because of threatened imposing tuition in public schools. We're all in the same boat, wanting bigger slices of an ever-shrinking pie.
