Don't you see, this is a compassionate effort to give women the ability to say no to sex with insistent suitors like they did before the advent of modern birth control? Of course, women do not need birth control unless they are having sex with men, so really it is for the men's benefit.
Yes silly me! I should be grateful to the Republican overlords for removing the burden of having to make decisions for myself. Such a burden is so heavy that only the menfolk can bear it ;-)
Next they'll decide that college and bank accounts are too burdensome for women, too. It hasn't been too many years since women couldn't get mortgages or car loans without some male relative agreeing to co-sign.
It all goes together. They won't stop with abortion and birth control.
