Is Jennifer Lopez really planning on marrying Casper Smart?
It certainly seemed that way when designer Roberto Cavalli let his Twitter followers know that he's designing a special wedding dress for J-Lo, even asking them what color he should use for it (his suggestion was red). However, now it seems that the tweet in question didn't come from Cavalli at all.
Jenny from the Block has certainly worn his sexy designs before, and of course she looks amazing in them. But according to People, Cavalli's rep later said that his Twitter account had been hacked, so he wasn't the one that tweeted about Jennifer's wedding dress.
Perhaps it should have been obvious that his tweet wasn't the real deal—after all, designers like Roberto Cavalli are well aware of how important a celebrity's privacy is, and of course Jennifer Lopez would have asked him to keep her marriage plans a secret. Plus what kind of designer asks Twitter users for dress color advice? Cavalli is the expert, so he doesn't need any help.
If Jennifer does plan on marrying Casper Smart in the future, it would make more sense for her to choose a Versace gown—after all, she owes the designer for that green dress that she wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000. That attention-grabbing dress is probably one of the reasons that she has become the star that she is today.
Of course it's always possible that Roberto Cavalli's wedding dress tweet was the real deal—Jennifer Lopez' people could have asked the designer to delete it and instructed him to say that he'd been hacked. However, the tweet in question doesn't really match the rest of the tweets on his Twitter page, which are mostly links to photos and videos.
But even if he was hacked, that doesn't mean that J-Lo and Casper Smart won't tie the knot by the end of 2012—Jennifer isn't getting any younger, and her toyboy is already 18 years younger than her.
So do you think that a wedding is in their near future?
