Kate Gosselin met a local photographer/reporter at a recent event and stopped to talk to him for a bit. While that's nothing new, the mom of eight later began reading his tweets and felt as though he was lying about her and turning a positive story about helping others into something negative. In typical Kate fashion, she confronted him about it.
"Hi! I'm reading your tweets and am upset [that] you are lying about me! I spent about 20 seconds with you and gave you a picture...why the hate?" Kate asked him. "I'm not hating on you. I'm just reporting what I saw, and what you did. Which part was lying?" he fired back. The two have gone back and forth a few times, and just when things started to look like they were going to fizzle out, the photog/reported tweeted, "I think it's time for you to go tend to your kids, you're just giving me more to talk about on my TV segment and in column."
Yikes! It sounds like this isn't going to be a good story that supports Kate Gosselin and the charity event that was supported by the Red Cross. It's hard to say exactly what was going on but it didn't sound like this reporter cared for Kate one way or the other at the beginning. However, since their Twight (that's a Twitter fight), it sounds like this guy got rubbed the wrong way by the former reality star and his story will likely reflect that.
Fans and non-fans alike have also gotten into this and have been tweeting both Kate and the gentleman involved. Many feel as though Kate should have messaged the man privately rather than in a public forum, but others think Kate just wanted to be sure the story was truthful and focused on fire victims, the ones who were supposed to be helped by the event.
It will be interesting to see if this goes further or if it's just dropped.
