Justin Bieber loves Selena Gomez, and he'll do almost anything to impress her. Like renting out the entire Staples Center for a movie date for example. Or sending her a whole florist's shop of flowers. Now, rumor has it that JB may take testosterone supplements to look more like the kind of super masculine guy the Spring Breakers star wants him to be.
Now that the Baby singer is 18 and no longer a baby himself, he's reportedly getting flack from his lady-love about his lack of facial hair. According to inside sources, the former Disney darling wants her über famous beau to grow a beard. It seems Selena thinks he still looks like a kid. In fact, the insiders joked that "if she didn't shave her legs, she'd have more hair on them than Justin has on his [face]."
Ouch.
In all fairness, La Gomez has a point—sort of. Remember back in the day, circa 2011, when Justin Bieber grew a mustache? Well, he tried to. Twice. Alas, he didn't get very far either time. A close examination of photos of his upper lip revealed nothing but sparse, pathetic fuzz. So what's a teen idol to do to become more hirsute? Why, take testosterone a.k.a steroids, of course.
"Justin is worried Selena will dump him for a hunkier, more virile-looking guy. He's even considered testosterone supplements to trigger hair growth, he working hard to become the manly man of Selena's dreams."
While no one is suggesting that the Biebs would ever consider doing anything illegal, he could probably get a doctor to prescribe a program of testosterone supplementation for him. Hollywood, you know.
Oh well, if this bizarre story is true, best of luck to JB in his quest for a more masculine look. If he does boost his testosterone levels, he'll also be able to buff up his slender, still boyish physique.
Yikes. Justin Bieber could end up resembling Selena Gomez's long-ago super celebrity crush, Zac Efron.
Stay tuned.
