A birther lawsuit in Arizona has been rejected, serving as yet again another loss for the group of big-dreamers who are questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship. This latest lawsuit fell back on whether or not the POTUS meets the constitutional requirements as a "natural born citizen."
Since Obama's father was a British citizen, the loud few are decrying his presidency as a fraud based on whatever definition of "natural born citizen" they are referring to. Therefore, the recent line of attack on him targets whether or not he is even eligible for re-election.
Of course, the birther movement has lost again thanks to the lawsuit being rejected, so this isn't really going to be an issue. As for the definition of what makes someone a "natural born citizen" of the United States of America, it's not clarified upon in the Constitution. So, naturally those who oppose the current administration are desperately throwing definitions in the air and hoping at least one will stick in their favor.
Black's Law Dictionary defines a "natural born citizen" as "a person born within the jurisdiction of a national government." That certainly sounds like President Obama considering he was born in the state of Hawaii.

Even if they are correct, the whole thing would be moot in a few months anyway if they would spend their time and energy getting O defeated in the next election. As it is, by spinning their wheels on a non-issue, they are shooting themselves in the foot by allowing O to be reelected by default. Stupidity plus!
They're not - that's why their "cases" keep getting bounced from the courts (in AZ, no less).
"...spinning their wheels on a non-issue...."
It's what they do best. What are they going to talk about? The economy? Jobs?
Please do so. These birther law suits are ridiculous. Obama is a natural born citizen. GET OVER IT.
"Begging the Question" is a form of faulty argument. Begging the Question asserts truth to an unproven or just plain false statement. These birther arguments are a good example of Begging te Question.
They are also a good example of stupidity.
The Dems have NOT stooped to questioning the citizenship of either man.
Republicans can make all the pointless agruments they want, the fact is this is racism dressed up in its Sunday finest.
More than one Prez or candidate was born outside the US and/or had a parent that was not an American citizen...Here is the test...Always has been...
Does he have ONE parent that is an American citizen...???
All the rest is hooplah...
But...the real question, in my mind, is why didn't he produce his long form on DAY ONE????
His own actions fueled the fire...
