Kim Kardashian has had no shortage of exposure—from that E! reality TV show empire (Keeping Up with the Kardashians! Kourtney and Kim Take New York! And that infamous wedding special!) to those persistent divorce-from-Kris Humphries reports, not to mention the countless photo shoots and campaigns and the endless stream of paparazzi pics. Kim has even generated more of her own spotlight by recently adopting the Instagram craze, posting fun and sometimes sexy self-portraits of herself to Twitter. But, for her latest blog post, Kim kept it completely G-rated, going vintage and sharing a blast from the past with an oldie but goodie snapshot.
Pigtails tied with pink bows, flirty and frilly (and all covered up!) pastel frocks, playing matchy-matchy... those trends certainly don't sound like anything the sultry glamazon Kim Kardashian, 31, would ever wear. But rewind, say, 25 years or so and that style fit her to a tee! Kim just shared an adorable snapshot of her and her pregnant sister, Kourtney Kardashian (who definitely was without the baby bump then!), back from when they were little tykes. Her simple and straightforward message: "Throwback Thursday... me & Kourtney." And that about sums it up!
Cute as buttons, dressed as twins and grinning awkwardly for the camera, the first two Kardashian daughters still had a lot to learn about posing and showing off their stuff. And did they ever learn! While one can almost detect their inner divas shining through, it's still hard to imagine that the two little ones in the photo are now THE Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, who regularly rock sultry and provocative looks for photo shoots, including those for their own fashion line, the Kardashian Kollection. Oh, how far they've come!
Looking at pics of her childhood, like the one Kim just posted, must make Kourtney even more excited for the little girl she'll soon be introducing to the Kardashian "klan." Those bows and pigtails may be making a comeback!
