Yum! I love Spaghetti squash, and it will be far better than that pink slime we are finding out about being added to our burger! The FDA is NOT our friend!

I really enjoy all squash.. summer, crookneck, zukes, I have always wanted to try the spaghetti squash. Is it really like spaghetti? Could you substitute it for spaghetti? I am all for mixing it with your meat to make it go further. I do that often with beans and rice.

When it is cooked it becomes stringy and looks like yellow spaghetti. I have seen recipes for using it as a pasta with tomatoe sauce, but haven't tried that yet. I should put it on my list.

I just had spaghetti squash with Marinara sauce for lunch. Tasty, and my wife liked it too.

Yes, otherwise it isn't like spaghetti. I cook it in the microwave first.

I've heard summer squash is great, but I am NOT a big squash person. When I was a kid I refused to eat it at all. I think part of it was the name. Who wants to eat something that sounds like it's a little bit rotten and squishy? But I do like raw yellow squash now and butternut squash now. I'll have to try spaghetti next.

I didnt know that squash keeps that long when stored. please could you send over some as its sure good to try.... amazing even your dog loves squash.

The squash keeps because I have a root cellar in the basement, although I did lose a few this winter. Last year I only lost two. I don't think they would survive the trip or I would be glad to send you some. By the way my dog like popcorn too.

weird for a dog, liking squash and popcorn. LOL.
I missed our squash season last fall, squash is not safe to eat for diabetics so I didnt buy me one. We mainly have these small orange Hokkaido squash but you have a great variety. I bet no two kinds taste similar. Would really be cool to compare.....
