Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber recently spent a PDA-packed whirl of a weekend in Los Angeles celebrating his big 18th birthday. And what a party it was, with a celeb-studded guest list and no doubt plenty of fun. Come the beginning of the week, though, Gomez was back in sunny Sarasota, Florida to film Spring Breakers. But despite her girlfriends and co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson, who are no doubt keeping her company, is the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer still lonely for her main man?
On Monday, Gomez was caught looking a bit downcast on set -- perhaps tired after helping the Biebs blow out the candles or maybe really missing him and lonely already, as Hollywood Life points out. Or maybe the flash bulbs just captured her at the wrong place and the wrong time. After all, she definitely wasn't camera-ready, so to speak, what with her face makeup free and her wardrobe, well, casual and a bit crazy.
Selena Gomez swapped any skimpy shorts and skin-baring attire, not to mention bikinis, which she has all been favoring in Florida for a faded, oversized T-shirt. And not just any T-shirt, but a Garfield cartoon one that has the famous cat breaking out of what looks to be a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Could be! It's also unclear what the text on the shirt says, but it seems to read "Garfield will keep you smiling." No matter what the real message is, this is definitely not Spring Break-approved attire here! (It's probably safe to say that this ensemble would not be Justin Bieber's favorite either!).
So did Selena Gomez's potential loneliness for the "Baby" singer prompt her to dress down and go "frumpy" for the day, to use Hollywood Life's description of the fashion-police-eligible shirt? At least Garfield will keep her smiling -- in theory -- even without Justin Bieber around!
