Recently, The Vampire Diaries has introduced a new possible romance—one between Caroline and Klaus—and even though she has turned him down, he's not going away. But what about Tyler?
Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 20 Spoilers
According to TVLine, executive producer Julie Plec has revealed, "Klaus definitely presents a seductive allure for Caroline, but she claims her heart belongs to Tyler — and in Episode 20, at the school's decade dance, we'll see that put to the test." It has been fun to watch Klaus trying to woo Caroline, and you've almost felt bad for him at times. However, you can't forget that it's the sire bond between him and Tyler that led to Tyler biting Caroline. That's what led to that moment between Klaus and Caroline that first had you wondering if something was developing between the two. Tyler has left Mystic Falls for now, but he can't be happy to come back and find out that Klaus has been pursuing the vampire he loves.
The Mikaelsons' party did show Klaus and Caroline dancing, and with another dance coming up, could there be another dance for the two? Could Tyler witness that dance and wonder just what has been going on while he's been gone trying to break the bond so he and Caroline can be together? Will Tyler return to Mystic Falls back in control of himself, or will he just think he's free of the bond and something tragic will happen? Anything can happen in The Vampire Diaries, and that means that anyone can hook up as well. It's very possible that Tyler returns only to find out that Caroline may have moved on or is at least confused about her feelings.
