Texas Navy to patrol Rio Grande! I didn't even know Texas had a navy, but they do, and they are launching six ships to patrol the river between the U.S. and Mexico in an effort to deter drug trafficking into the United States.
Each ship will be named after a state trooper who was killed in the line of duty. Putting these high powered ships into the region should catch a lot more drug smugglers, and may deter some drug trafficking.
Jerry Don Davis already has launced. The Jerry Don Davis and the other ships are bullet proof, can float in two-feet of water, and are 34-foot long. The have six machine guns each and have 300-horsepwer engines.
Take that drug smugglers. I didn't know Texas had a Navy, but I'm sure the Border Patrol will apprecate the help. Good luck to these brave men and women.
