Grrrrrr My Checks Did Not Come In Yet

I am completely out of checks.  I ordered new ones three weeks ago.  I didn't choose rush shipping because I figured 3 weeks should be plenty of time.  Now tomorrow is the day I need to pay all of my bills and I don't have any checks.

Actually I have checks for my business account but I don't really want to use them to pay our persona household bills.  It looks like I am gong to have to though. Now I have to go to the one bank and pull money out of that account and then take it to the other bank and deposit the money in my business account.  Very frustrating, but I don't want to pay my bills late.

Why isn't anything ever easy?

Mhhh... don't you have the possibility to to a bank transfer?
We do not use checks anymore in Germany, so I do not know what else to do :-(

That's a bummer that the checks didn't come in. I would also think 3 weeks would be plenty of time to deliver.

I don't even have checks for my account. I use account transfers or for the random odd bill that doesn't have that option, I just get a money order or cashiers check. If you don't want to mix up your two accounts, you could always get money orders for each item and still mail them.

you can get cashier checks at the bank that they write for a 1.00 a piece from your account if you would like. hope this helps

I actually went to the bank and they printed nine checks for me right there, so that will save me a lot of hassle and didn't cost me thing.

Use the computer....I don't do checks anymore. I use my debit/credit card or cash. So much easier all the way around. And everyone even the garbage company has online payment available.

I see that your bank helped you with this and that is great. I would be checking on that check order, though, just to make sure it was not mis delivered somewhere.

I pay 95% of all our bills online....it's so, so much easier and that way I don't have to worry about checks and running out of them. I try to NOT pay bills by mail, as I don't trust the Postal Service.....LOL!
