In an effort to further boost his presidential campaign, Nick Santorum announced today the release of his new website “White Americans for Santorumâ€.
In his narrowly aimed website and comments, he said “Every day I think of the generations of White-American men and women who helped overcome oppression, risked their own safety, even gave up their lives to help build a country that lived up to its founding principles. Their extraordinary hope, their unwavering determination changed this country. Their efforts made it possible for somebody like me to be here today. “
He added: “This campaign is powered by folks at every level, taking ownership where it matters the most, around the kitchen table, in barber shops in beauty salons in your faith community, at work, or at school and, of course, in the voting booth this Election Day. Because we are greater together than we can ever be on our own. “
He even encouraged inappropriate campaigning within church organizations when he closed with “Visit the site for more information about all the ways you can get involved—from attending organizing workshops to becoming a Congregation Captain—and say you’re ready to keep making history. Thanks, and see you out there.â€

[Ed. There is, of course, no Nick Santorum in the presidential race and the real candidate who is in the race with a similar name (Rick Santorum) was NOT involved at all in the above. Click the links above to see which candidate actually DID recently create a race-based website in support of his presidential campaign.]
