On Any Given Day

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS ALWAYS.

On any given day, when things

seem to get away

Anger sets in, in such a terrible

twist,

Bad words are heard, the good

words are missed.

When a person is attacked by a

hurtful mouth, that rants, raves,

screams and shouts, forgetting

what it all was about?

It takes a strong person, a

respectable voice to show this

person, they have a choice.

This hurtful human with a hurtful

mouth will learn, Hate is not what

Life is about.

Strength, in good people.

I love the sentiments in your poem Marie , for someone's mouth has just hurt someone I love, and I have to tell you, I am a protective person, and If I say something more to stir things up, more people will hurt. I have been so busy with this mess I can't tell you how

God Bless you dearest Elsie,,, too many do terrible things and say nasty things,,, I know you are strong enough to hold your own,,, never let anyone get the better of you,,, hold onto God,,,He is our best guide,,, You will be fine,,,Go slow and easy,,, I say this to my own family when troubles start,,, Going slow helps us to hear and reason with the problem,,, being easy puts strength in our words,,,never hate,,, if you must cry,,,cry but,,,for a good reason,,, your strength will help you,,,if you can walk away from the problem,,,DO SO,,, Again Angels around you dear heart,,,

This is beautiful and wise, Marie, just like you. Reading Elsie's comment, I recognized a common feeling. I, too, get defensive and protective and can let my words make things worse. I've been working on visualizing God's hand holding mine, not letting in any anger or hurt. It works surprisingly well. I also ask Him to put His other hand over my mouth, just in case;)

My Brother passed away the 3rd of this month,,, It was expected,,, But, I still reach for the phone to call him,,, I know my Lord is helping me,,,I feel it and at times I feel my brother,,,we called each other 4 or 5 times a week,,, He lived by himself,,, He was a strong person,,, I am Blessed by the Lord,,,He carries me through,,,I am grateful,,, I still have three sisters and two Brothers,,, God Bless you my dear,,, stay strong,,, you have a good heart,,, big hugs,,,
