Jim Jones of Love and Hip Hop was arrested on Friday night and maced in the face by five police officers after a nasty brawl erupted at the MGM Grand Casino in Connecticut.
According to reports, Jim was minding his own business after a party with Diddy when an angry, drunk man walked up to him and started yelling obscenities. Jim tried to ignore the man, only to be punched. He then retaliated and things got ugly fast.
At the end of it all, there were people from Jim's team involved and people from the drunk man's team involved. Somehow, Jim Jones got maced in the face and tackled by five police officers. Of course, TMZ has the photos of that exact moment. They're never one to miss a good fight scene involving celebs!
"Sources close to Jones say he was arrested and it took the aforementioned cops and mace to bring him in. We're told he has since bonded out and is headed back home soon. Jones had no comment. The hotel had no comment as well, and referred us to the Connecticut State Police. No word back from them so far," said TMZ via Global Grind.
While Jim Jones was fighting, it appears he was only defending himself and did not instigate the brawl. However, he may have gotten a little rowdy during the fight which made officers use mace.
Hopefully, the man who started it all was arrested as well and was not released so quickly!
