Last night Adam Lambert joked on Twitter about his choice of outfit when he recently hosted a countdown on FUSE TV. He used a Twitter hastag (#gaypopstarproblems), which resulted in hours of hilarious follow-up tweets from fans. The comedy started after Adam tweeted:
"Had best time hosting FUSE 100 sexy beats countdown but whoops my long shirt n' boots made my legs look SO stumpy. #time2stopselfstyling?? And I wonder why everyone always says "OH you're tall". On camera I keep looking vertically lame. Making myself look all boxy n shit. Hahaha #gaypopstarproblems"
Fans immediately started tweeting examples of "gaypopstarproblems" by listing random facts they know about Adam. Many of the tweets are best understood by Adam's diehard fan base, but are still funny even for those who do not know what prompted the comments. Examples of some fan tweets are below:
"After 3 years of following my every move, some of the ladies still don't get that I like BOYS and I'm TAKEN #gaypopstarproblems"
"My fans have to look up all my lingo on urbandictionary
#gaypopstarproblems"
"I can't go to Whole Foods without being photographed. #gaypopstarproblems"
