Thursday February 23, 2012 at 10am, the members of the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (SLHTA) and Saint Lucia Culinary Team 2012, in celebration of Saint Lucia’s 33rd Independence, One People, One Nation, Limitless Possibilities, donated 36 chairs to the Children’s Ward at the Victoria Hospital.
Ms. Yola St. Jour opened the presentation followed by Mr. Nicodemus Joseph who did the handing over of chairs to Victoria Hospital representative Nurse Mathurin. Also present, was Dr. Ira Simmons who made closing remarks and thanked the SLHTA for this kind gesture.
Media houses such as Choice TV, HTS, DBS, Calabash TV, The Voice News Paper were also present. At the end of the presentation, refreshment prepared by members of SLHTA Food and Beverage Committee were made available for all to enjoy.
