One Tree Hill season 9 is all about trying to figure out what happened to Nathan, and the press release for episode 10, "Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will," reveals that they may be getting very close to that.

Spoilers have previously teased that it's at about this point in the season that who dies in One Tree Hill season 9 is revealed, and it seems very likely this is the one that features the scene from the season opener with Dan, armed, and Chris Keller getting out of the car. Dan says to let him handle any killing. Julian wasn't with them, but it can't be because he's the one who gets killed, right? Will the death end up being Dan, Julian, or Chris Keller as they try to save Nathan? It's hard to think of what else could lead to someone dying. Will they be able to save Nathan, or will they hit a dead end? It's hard to imagine that it will be Nathan who dies, but it's impossible not to worry about what they will find when they do, considering things keep getting worse and worse for him.
Meanwhile, it sounds like Brooke is right to be worried with Xavier out on parole—really, how did that happen?—and with Julian helping out Dan and Chris Keller with the Nathan situation, will she turn to someone else for help? Everyone's dealing with their own problems this season, so that may not be so easy to find.
