California is most hated state in the Union!

According to a recent poll, people were asked which states they viewed favorably, and which ones they hated. California ran away with the prize of most hated state in the Union by Republicans and Democrats alike.

What is it about California that they hate? I know I hate the government of California and the way Hollywood people act. The state is a welfare state with people who act entitled either by wealth or poverty.

I would have thought with the coast and the weather, California would have faired better than dead last.. I know this is upsetting to Californians, but that's the way the poll went.

It's too bad that the left coast is viewed that way. It once was considered a haven for all, but with government regulations and taxes, no one wants to live in the state of California, and I know a lot of people who are now moving from California to the midwest, and they are much happier.

ande in every way there is, including hidden taxes.

the insane fees to get car tags is one of the smallest of examples.

and i do not think ahyone considered the weather, etc - it was the misery, and oppressivness of the state government, they voted on.

i lived in santa barbara for a year - 1977 - and jerry brown was pretty much hated then - can NOT believe the clown is back.

Let's face it. Most people find their radical, nonsensical liberalism ... well, radical and nonsensical. They need to get their heads out of the "medical" shops and join the rest of US.

They continue to misplace their ideals and policies. I guess they really believe someone else will pay the bill. I sure hope no one does when their day of reckoning comes. They will not even try to be reasonable or responsible!

I refuse to believe that people voted for California. It sounds as if this was a faux poll. I mean come on, Texas would and should be at the top of the list!

I lived in various locations in California for a couple of years (husband at the time was in the navy) and even though the weather was nice, I was soooo glad to get back to the midwest.
That was years ago. I can't imagine that it is better now than it was then.

I read the original poll. It was a simple question where people were asked to say whether they had a positive or a negative feeling when they heard the name of the state.

The "state" of California sucks. We keep reelecting the same idiots that drive us into the dirt. We regularly pass laws that force business out of the state.

The geographic area that is California has some of the most beautiful country in the US. I love living in SoCal until you introduce the politics; then, I can't stand the place.
