One Tree Hill season 9 began with a look into the future for each character, and for Haley, that meant identifying a body at the morgue. That person's identity wasn't revealed, but now it's been revealed when it will.

According to E! Online, it's "around episode 10ish" that the identity of the person dying will be revealed. That's going to be part of "a two-episode storyline that will ROCK you" because "it's not so much who dies, but how it happens that is pretty amazing. And selfless. And good." Uh-oh, it sounds like fans are in for an emotional episode when that happens. Considering Nathan's the one in the most danger right now, you can't help but worry about him, even though it's been revealed that James Lafferty is in the series finale. Still, even though it doesn't seem like he's the one who will be dying in One Tree Hill season 9, that doesn't mean that the death couldn't have a great emotional impact on him.
Who could be the one who dies? Will it involve the search to bring Nathan home safe? Everyone's trying to find him, with Dan, whom many immediately thought was responsible, working hard to figure out why he was taken (he even thought it could be someone he wronged). Mouth has provided him with the information he needs—it's all about a basketball player he tried to sign while in Europe—but will it be enough to find Nathan? Dan and Chris Keller's opening future scene showed the two getting out of a car, with Dan armed and telling Chris to leave any killing to him. Could they be going to try to rescue Nathan? Could one of them end up dead in the process? Could Dan sacrifice himself to try to make up for all the evil he's done in the past and save his son?
