A beautiful photo of the plant species 'Papaver somniferum' in which opium is obtained from the juice of unripe pods . . . how homeopathically gratifying ! Thanks for sharing

Erica, this is not the kind of Poppy from which opium is obtained, but rather a Mexican Gold Poppy. I'm not sure of the uses of this particular poppy. Thank you for stopping by. :)
