As if Criminal Minds season 7 episode 19 didn't sound creepy enough with the character information for two guest stars already, now there are more case details out with two more guest stars lined up that makes you wonder if this could be one of the creepiest yet.
CM Season 7 Episode 19 Spoilers
According to Entertainment Weekly, Robert Englund and Juliet Landau will be guest starring in the Matthew Gray Gubler-directed episode which features Kyle Gallner and Madeleine Martin playing brother and sister who share their dead mother's delusions. Englund will be playing "Det. Gassner, who helps the team at the BAU with a case involving a string of ritualistic murders in Oregon." That would be where the delusions seem to come in. Meanwhile, Landau is guest starring as "the ghost...of a former actress named Catherine Heathridge, who had a psychotic break as a young woman." It sounds like she could be the dead mother of those kids. While it may be a bit of a stretch to wrap your head around a ghost coming to a procedural drama, it does sound like it should be an intriguing case—and perhaps one that makes the list of scariest so far?
Over the seven seasons of Criminal Minds, there have been some gruesome and scary cases, and season 7 episode 19 is likely to be added to at least one of those lists. After all, you do have to wonder what the case will be like when the actor who played Freddy Krueger and who has had creepy guest spots on other television shows such as Supernatural and Bones is playing the detective and not the unsub in the latest investigation. Will that air of creepiness still follow him in this role? They are dealing with ritualistic killings and delusional kids, so perhaps that will be enough scary for one episode.
