LINDSAY LOHAN is notching up her comeback points by hosting “Saturday Night Live” this week.

But will she finally regain control of her career which spun crazily out of control from alleged substance abuse, late-night partying, controversial relationships, DUI and shoplifting arrests, jail, meltdowns, legal entanglements, and trips to rehab in the last few years?

Last we looked, LiLo has been campaigning mightily hard to win that Elizabeth Taylor biopic role for Lifetime Network for which she’s up against Megan Fox. This time around, she’s returning as host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” where she’ll reportedly be having musician Jack White of the White Stripes as one of her guests…
The last time she appeared on "Saturday Night Live" was in 2006. She was at the top of her game following "Mean Girls" in 2004 and successive films "Herbie: Fully Loaded," "Just My Luck," and "Prairie Home Companion," up through 2006.

This year, LiLo‘s flinging her arms around desperately looking for a career lifeline that’ll boost her prospects after work systematically dried up for her following her descent into trainwreck-dom.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan‘ll be successful this time around? We’ll see this Saturday, won’t we?
