There are some research papers that you just know are going to be provocative just from the titles.Â

Ever read a study and said 'wait a minute"? This is one of them - even reading just the abstract before getting to the particulars of the research that follows the abstract conclusions I found myself saying how did they go about (method) getting this information.Â

 Am I right or wrong - I did not see the correlation between the study and relationships let alone what it had to do with marriage choices. Kind of like showing some a basket of fruit then saying and that's why folks eat more apples than pomegranites.

There really is more biology in our choices of a mate than you might suspect. For instance, why do men prefer women with long blond hair? Blond hair darkens when a woman gets older. Therefore, a woman's age is evident in the hair. Healthy hair is evidence of a healthy body and long hair is evidence of years of good health.
Of course, all that is nonsense now. Women can color their hair or wear wigs.
I agree that biology plays a big role. I think that is why I was expecting more os this study - that and it was on a neuro-science blog.
