Whitney Houston's death at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last Saturday afternoon has prompted other guests to ask for refunds. Of course you can imagine the commotion that went on and it probably disturbed guests and made their stay less comfortable (to say the least).
According to TMZ, guests on the fourth floor of the hotel (the floor that Whitney was on) were on lockdown for much of the weekend. There was a lot of talking and noise in the halls through much of the day and night, making it difficult for people to sleep. When some of the guests requested a refund, the hotel refused and asked them to file formal complaints.
There really isn't an easy way to say who is right in this situation. No one could have predicted what was going to happen to Whitney Houston last Saturday afternoon and it's definitely not the hotel's fault. If they were to refund people their money, they would be at a loss, don't you think? However, it's easy to understand how aggravated some of the guests must have been. Thoughts?
