The unreal, is quickly becoming real. In just a few hours, all over the country, fans, friends and family will say their final farewells to singer/actress Whitney Houston. There will be a lot of tears shed today, as the memories of her life pass through our minds and touch our hearts.
Her songs invaded my dreams last night and I was glad to hear them. It's hard to believe that Whitney Houston is gone; too young and way too soon. Her homegoing celebration will take place in the place where it all began, Newark, N.J. at her childhood church home, New Hope Baptist Church.
CNN will broadcast the live funeral services, starting at around 11 eastern time. Gratefully, the Houston family has generously decided to share Whitney with us once again, by allowing cameras inside the services. R.I.P. Whitney 'Nippy' Houston.

However, I know that, now, the hard part starts for the family. Right now, there are people around, but, in the days ahead, grief will really hit. My hope is that they find comfort in each other and their memories of Whitney. RIP Dear Whitney.
Well, this was a family affair. Her family paid for this ceremony. Her service wasn't much different than those we have for our loved ones here. Her ceremony was larger because of the number of people she knew.
Of course our soldiers deserve the best, ALWAYS. I am sure those whose bodies are returned, their families give them the best funerals they can afford. Those who return alive, I pray they return to loved ones who welcome them with celebrations.
