My day, and yours?

Today went okay. I slept in, and was woken by a call from hubby telling me to turn on the news. One of his brothers works on tower 4 of the World Trade Center, and a crane broke and crashed down to the ground today. He made me nervous, but there was (thankfully!) only one injury. The biggest issue right now is that his brother will be out of work until the job starts up again.

Then I got up, showered and decided that instead of going out (in the SNOW!) I would make my own gift bags for my Vocalpoint party in a few days. They all came out pretty well, I'm impressed with myself. I'll post a photo tomorrow after I finish them off by adding handles to a few that don't have any yet.

Notice how I said snow? This is maybe the 5th time all winter we have seen snow. In mid-February! It's crazy, it's like winter didn't happen this year.

I cleaned up a bit more around the apartment in preparation for our move.

I started a giveaway on my freebie/review blog! I'm really excited about it. I almost feel like a real blogger. :) It's nothing big, just some Scooby Doo stickers, but I hope to make a child somewhere happy.

Finally hubby and I went and bought the light for my fish tank that burnt out yesterday, and went to a Chinese buffet for dinner, and came home and got my tank back in order.
