Rihanna and Chris Brown Back Together for...

The speculation that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together can continue! The former couple have already worked together to record a collaborative remix for Ri Ri's song "Birthday Cake," a source reports.

It's been rumored for weeks that these two were "hooking up" on the down low. It had recently been rumored they would be recording a song together, and now it's official. The source reporting the Rihanna and Chris Brown remix is Miss Info via her official Twitter profile and website. She tweeted the news earlier with a link asking:

"Is the World Ready for a Rihanna x Chris Brown Reunion? Well, It's Happening (ExclusiveDetails)"

Over on her website, Miss Info says she confirmed the collaboration with "two independent sources." She also notes that Brown's part for the remix involves Chris singing one verse, and rapping another, but it's unknown if both will make the final cut.

This news comes right after several more interesting developments. Both Chris Brown and Rihanna performed at Sunday's Grammys 2012 awards show. Rihanna did a collaboration with Coldplay, while Brown performed solo, yet with some extra dancers. His performance wasn't necessarily spectacular, and even drew criticism from some. That included country singer Miranda Lambert who even tweeted her thoughts about Breezy.

With that in mind, the idea that these two have hooked up, at least for a song, might bother some. They previously dated in 2009, and there was a horrifying domestic abuse incident where Brown beat up Rihanna in a car. Brown did his time for the incident, including probation, but has had angry rants and outbursts since then, whether it be on Twitter or morning news shows. Still, the singer has achieved success again in music with his album "F.A.M.E." while Rihanna continues to also make hit music. That has strangely brought these two back together again, but it may backfire for at least one of them, Rihanna.

So is it good or bad business that the victim in all this has taken Brown back, at least for the sake of remixing her music? Is that sending the wrong message to her fans, or has time healed all wounds?
