2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair is requesting that boyfriend Marston, son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, gets some help. Marston Hefner was arrested Sunday night in Pasadena on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence after police had been called to his house and saw bruising on his girlfriend. Sinclair said that Hefner had punched and kicked her and refused to let her leave. He was released on $20,000 bond Monday morning. People who know Marston must be in shock! He's such calm person. Some comments are cropping up suggesting the incident is being blown out of proportion.
Playboy's Miss October 2010 Sinclair and Hefner have been together off and on since August 2010. In May 2011, Sinclair was picked for Playboy's Playmate of the Year. That same month, Sinclair told a red carpet reporter that her relationship with Marston was "very tumultuous." Earlier today, she went to the Pasadena Police department to speak to investigators and get a temporary (3-day) protection order so she could safely move out of Marston's house. It's so sad that after such a long relationship she needs protection to move. Hopefully the incident was a one time thing and they can move on with their lives.
Later, 20-year-old Claire told E! Online, "All I want is for Marston to give a public apology and I want him to get psychiatric help. I want him to admit that he did hit me more than once. If he can do all of that and get help, I will never press charges. That's all that I want at this point. Playboy let me know this afternoon that he will be doing this, so I just hope they stick to their word." The trouble is, it looks like California law stipulates that even if the injured party doesn't press charges, the State will. Perhaps they can make special exceptions?
The man stuck in the middle is Hugh Hefner. Of course he has to be loyal to his middle born son, but Sinclair is somewhat of a protégé to Hef and he cares for her a lot. Hugh Hefner told People Magazine, "If they care about each other, they'll patch it up."
