Mindful Poetry Contest: April 2, 2012

We'll start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.
When we read we begin with A-B-C, when we poem, we begin with Little Willie.

Follow these rules:

This form uses four lines.
Use a rhyme scheme of a-a-b-b or a-b-a-b.
Today's prompt: include a kitchen utensil.
Publish so that the date stamped is April 2nd

Stephen taught me that my dogmatic adherence to rules wasn't helpful. So if you do submit late, having told me that Gather was giving you trouble, of course I'd accept it to the contest.

But since I choose the Poem-of-the-Day immediately at midnight so that I can include it in the next day's post, you'd miss out on that part.

I missed your Little Willie. Mustafa's, too.
