Currently I am freezing due to the fact my old space heater has died and emits a burning smell when it runs. Brrr...less than 78 and I turn to ice! It's been a really chilly day here and it was 14 degrees when I went to church this morning. I chatted with a few friends and actually tried sneaking up on a good friend who had her back turned. I failed completely because she turned around and saw me just as I snuck up and growled back at me and I gasped. She got a kick out of it...as well as everyone watching.
After church, I worked on a puzzle and went on a mile walk until my best guy friend called me to hangout. We chatted for a while, pulled a prank on our pastor and went to the store to buy things to restock our churches shiny shed (its a hygiene ministry for the poor). Always nice to spend the afternoon with my closest friend :D
I'm working in an ESL classroom tomorrow, so I'll be heading into school extra early to translate notes and prepare myself. Now I'm up working on job applications. I don't mind the application part so much as the cover letter. Ugh. I detest cover letters, but they're a necessity! I'd have a much easier time saying in person why I'm a good canidate. I have a solid base of experiences (diverse too!), plus lots of good references. Just the cover letter part, bleh.
A couple of the schools have long-term sub positions open now and there are a few aide positions open as well. I've gotten one interview as an aide so far and two in library positions, so maybe one will be 'the one'. It's been beaten with a stick by now, but the job market is seriously killing teaching jobs! Plus that one place you apply to will get 60+ applicants! If this were 10-15 years ago, it'd be so much easier to get a job as a teacher or in education. At any rate, back to searching!

Good luck!
We went and bought an infared heater for the kitchen......darn thing cost $300, but it was pretty well worth it, as it sure does warm our cold kitchen up.......it's also very, very safe as well. We've been having bitterly, bitterly cold weather here......I just hate it and can't wait till spring gets here!!!!
I really dislike the cold. Luckily though I can steal my moms space heater for work tomorrow. Those buildings are freezing! 50 degrees!
