Man on Fire 

 

 

 

The novelty

of his voice

Brought me

to my knees in tears                                

remembering

the first time

his hands

touched my inner self,

continually I resurface

breathe in

the air of heaven,

pure as a baby's heart

unpunished for future sins,

the alibi holds no fear,

a sound of trumpets

will set you free.

I so love your poem Rony. I love the phrase "continually I resurface breathe in the air of Heaven pure as a baby heart" (did you mean to say baby's heart). Prayer will take you to this place will it not. I loved you comment to Elizabeth above-true peace is found in not other.
