Robert Pattinson received a style critique by a cast mate who is becoming the talk of the recent fashion scene. Kellan Lutz--a.k.a Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series of films--dished about his own and Rob's best fashions.
According to a report from E!, Kellan Lutz was actually checking out some fashion finds at Lacoste when he was stopped by one of their reporters.
When Kellan was asked which of his Twilight co-stars would get the award for best fashion flair, he said unequivocally, "Jackson Rathbone."
"Out of our cast, Jackson probably has the best male style," Kellan said of the actor who plays Jasper Hale in the films. "He rocks those cowboy boots like no other."
Of Taylor Lautner, Lutz managed to say he had "great style," but he got a bit more detailed when it came to Robert Pattinson. Much has been said in the media about both Rob and his girlfriend and co-star Kristen Stewart's fashions. When they're not appearing at celebrity events or walking red carpets, both of them have a 90s grunge sort of look--especially Kristen. Rob's is a bit more grunge combined with low scale preppy.
"He has his own thrown-together-but-looks-amazing style," Lutz says of Robert Pattinson. And yes, that's a pretty good way to sum it up. Since it doesn't really fit into one particular category, that works.
Still Rob could look good in a ripped t-shirt and boxer shorts. It just goes without saying.
Kellan Lutz is hoping to see a resurgence of turtlenecks on the fashion scene. He wears them himself and thinks they're great staples for both guys and girls.
"It's structure," he says of the high collared look. "I'm very much into that and then the big scoop necks—for guys and girls. I'd love to see girls in turtlenecks!"
Come to think of it--haven't you seen Rob in a turtleneck, too?
What's with these Twilight guys and their fashion trends? If you lose sight of that at any point in time--just ask Kellan Lutz. It seems he's the go-to guy for Twilight fashion these days.
