'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Episode 15 'All My Children' Preview: Elena in Trouble Again

The Vampire Diaries season 3 continues next week with episode 15, "All My Children," and while the Originals are all back together, Esther has put a plan in action to kill them all. Elena knows about it, but will something happen to her before Esther can finish her plan?

"After starting her day with a startling discovery of Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) latest indiscretion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is frustrated to find that none of her friends agree with her on how they should react to the Original family's internal power struggle. Once again caught up in the destiny of the Bennett witches, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White) find themselves playing a part in a ritual to appease the spirits of nature. When Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies) gives Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) a dangerous ultimatum that puts Elena in danger, they turn to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) for help with a plan that leads them to a terrible choice."

It's really hard to know whom you can trust on this show right now. It turns out Esther plans to kill all her children to kill Klaus, and she starts with a spell that binds them all together. Finn's in on it, and that means there's bound to be some conflict just among the siblings, not to mention everyone outside the family. Elena knew about it before the champagne toast and still let Elijah drink. Will that come back to haunt her in this episode?

In the Vampire Diaries season 3 episode 15 promo for "All My Children" (below), Elena's in trouble and though it looks like she's trying to get away, there doesn't look to be any escaping Rebekah. Meanwhile, Elijah gives Damon an ultimatum: Help them or Elena will die "screaming in agony." Considering Rebekah has Elena and is having fun with that match, now may not be the time to go rogue and try to get around what the Originals want. What could they want help with? Perhaps they're looking for a way around Esther's spell if they've found out about it.

The most intriguing part of the episode isn't part of the preview: It's how Elena reacts to Damon sleeping with Rebekah. It's not like she can really say anything on a personal level, considering what she told him in "Dangerous Liaisons," but just logically, it was a bad move on Damon's part. How will that affect them going forward as they face off against the Originals?
