Has the Kim Kardashian divorce from Kris Humphries led to the NBA star becoming more unpopular? It's very possible, as a new poll has Kim K's former hubby among the top 5 most disliked sports celebrity figures!
Previously, there had been lists of disliked sports stars by their particular league or sport. Now they're being ranked across the boards for the most disliked athletes in all of the sports world. According to ESPN, Kris Humphries ranked at #5 on the "Most Disliked Athletes" list. He was bested by Ndamukong Suh of the NFL's Detroit Lions, NFL star Plaxico Burress, golfer Tiger Woods, and the NFL QB many love to hate, Michael Vick. Some can easily draw up reasons why each of these figures are ranking in the top 5, although Humphries seems to be hated due to a reality wedding and divorce from Kris Kardashian. Tiger Woods was also in a messy divorce, but more due to his own cheating on his beautiful wife with numerous other women. Meanwhile, the three NFL stars on the list have had their fair shares of run-ins with the law or on-field issues plaguing them.
Should someone feel sorry that Kris Humphries is on the list? Maybe he's disliked for the fact he got to spend the amount of time he did with Kim Kardashian. Or quite possibly he's disliked for wasting everyone's time with such a quick marriage which ended with Kim Kardashian divorcing him. Regardless, he was propelled into the spotlight more than ever thanks to Kim K, and now he's disliked in the aftermath. It seems to be an interesting cause and effect as Kardashian has a good amount of "haters" as well. Congratulations Kris!
