Robert Pattinson better watch out—Josh Hutcherson is so charming that he might just steal all of Rob's female fans.
Josh doesn't really want his movie, The Hunger Games, to be compared to Twilight, but it's hard to avoid the comparisons since both movies are based on popular young adult books and both feature a girl with two guys in love with her. The Hunger Games doesn't focus as much on a love story as Twilight, but it's already looking like Josh could become a major heartthrob just like Rob.
Josh has already claimed that he really identifies with his character in the movie, going so far as to say that he is Peeta. Girls that fell in love with the boy with the bread will certainly be thrilled to know that.
They might also enjoy knowing what Josh Hutcherson's idea of a perfect date is. According to Celebuzz, here's what the actor said about his romantic side: "I'm a big romantic, traditional cheesy guy. I'm all about going to the beach under the stars. That's a real date. But other than that, dinner and a movie is classy." Robert Pattinson seems like a great guy and all, but it's hard to imagine his answer being so sweet.
Josh Hutcherson really comes off as a warm, friendly guy who would make the perfect boyfriend; he's very open and cheerful and seems very easy to talk to. The Hunger Games director Gary Ross calls him "unbelievably charming," and Josh has something in common with a lot of girls—he really admires Ryan Gosling.
So Josh will take a girl out to the beach under the stars and watch The Notebook with her? Could this guy get any better?
Josh might not be anything like Robert Pattinson looks-wise, and the character he plays in The Hunger Games is quite different from Edward Cullen, but it's safe to say that he better be prepared for the same level of female adoration that Rob has experienced.
