Selena Gomez Replaces Miley Cyrus in Upcoming Film

Selena Gomez will reportedly be taking Miley's Cyrus's place in an upcoming vampire film. Miley dropped out of Hotel Transylvania, starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, and Cee Lo Green.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Miley wanted to spend more time in 2012 working on her music. She is presently working on a new album. Coincidentally, Selena just happens to want to spend more time acting in 2012. It's a win-win situation for both of these talented young ladies.

ia tells the story of a resort the Count sets up away from the human world, but gets discovered by a boy who falls in love with his daughter." The Count is played by Adam Sandler, and his daughter will be Justin Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Before you start saying to yourself, "Oh, noÂ—not another vampire movie," just relax. Hotel Transylvania sounds like it will be absolutely hilarious. And with a cast like this one, how could it even possibly not be funny?

Selena Gomez is certainly lining up film projects for 2012, isn't she? In addition to Spring Breakers, which will start filming shortly in St. Petersburg, Florida, she has signed on for a cameo role in an earthquake thriller to be filmed in Chile.
