Not too long ago Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian seemed to be in a baby-making competition, but now both girls are probably glad that they're not pregnant.
Of course, Kim has to be relieved that she didn't end up being a single mom after her marriage to Kris Humphries ended after only 72 days, while Khloe is
glad that she hasn't gotten sperminated because life threw a major curveball at her.
Her hubby, Lamar Odom, got traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, which resulted in a big move for Khloe and Lamar. Khloe recently told People that the move is why she's happy that she hasn't gotten pregnant yet—it would have been extremely difficult to deal with being pregnant and the stress of moving and adjusting to a new place.
Khloe Kardashian feels that there's a lot of pressure on her to get pregnant. Fans and family members alike seem to be eager for her to become a mom (probably because she'd be such a good one). Lamar Odom actually admitted that he's a little bit jealous that Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with her second child while he and Khlo haven't managed to have one baby yet, but as his wife points out, "Everything happens for a reason."
Kris Jenner could also be somewhat happy that Khloe isn't pregnant yet. Right now Kim Kardashian is getting plenty of tabloid attention because she's back on the market; Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy is keeping her in the headlines; and speculation about the identity of Khloe's "real" father has everyone talking. So the momager would probably prefer for Khlo to get pregnant when there's a lull in big Kardashian life events.
Even though Khloe Kardashian admits to being relieved that she didn't get pregnant before the move to Dallas, that doesn't mean that she's giving up on having a baby. She hasn't changed her mind about wanting to be a mom, and she and Lamar Odom are "definitely trying" to make it happen.
Maybe she and Lamar just need an old-fashioned good-luck charm—they could always hang a horseshoe over their sex swing.
