Reminds me when we were kids. I'd say to my sister, "While you're up, would you please get me a glass of milk?" Of course she was sitting at the time.
Surprisingly, and thankfully, she often got up and brought me a glass of milk. Not a bad big sister, huh?

That sounds like a typical "big sister". Mine was a miniature mommie and still does it without thinking.

One summer I had to leave on my bicycle at 5 AM to work in the cherry orchard. Every morning she made my sandwiches and packed my lunch while I made and ate breakfast. She was pretty handy to have around.

Sometimes life needs a metaphored mirage.
If I can't have a full cup, I prefer a half full cup but a half empty cup is better than an empty cup. However, I much rather a bottomless cup of coffee. :)
