You think so? First the case hasn't even been going on "for years". Second, the boys just started talking about that night in the past few months. Previous to that if their mom was mentioned they would run away from whomever was speaking to them. It is not that it "could be possible" the boys fueled (nice choice of words) this search. They DID in fact draw pictures and tell a couple of people, when they went camping that night mom was in the trunk, mom and dad got out and mom never came back. I live very near the Powell home, and our detectives and media are doing a very good job on this case.

You do realize this has been an open case since 2009 right? 2012 minus 2009 equals 3. 3 is more than one. Years is the plural form of the word year.

Oooos, left out the part that it has been 25 months an two weeks, or as I calculate 2.2 years (roughly). Making it not even close to what you nearly said.

I live near the home where Susan went missing. The missing person case and investigation for that part of this tragedy are here in Utah. I was simply stating the media and detectives here have been doing a very good job. There has not been any span of time here in Utah that they this story has not stayed very much in the forefront of our news. I do know they searched some camping areas in Nevada. I believe, not 100% sure, that it was toward Wendover about 90 minutes outside Sakt Lake City.

I'm back. We had a great time, thanks for asking. I'm exhausted, but wondered if you had fixed your incorrect story yet. My degree is not in math, but I have counted on my fingers a few times and I just don't get 3.3 years. Late December 2009 = 1 month, all of 2010 = 12 more, and all of 2011 = 12 more. January for 2012 is gone and that = 1 more. That is 2.2 years. Although, I do get more than one year becomes plural to two years, but your insinuation of "yeeears" I think is an exaggeration. Potato, patato. So before you get snarky with the "glad to clear that up for ya", you might double check your math.

Glad you could see your "typo", aka mistake, on the other issue.

Also -- changes are made during business hours by editors. (as stated previously) I understand it's easy to forget what "business hours" may be when one isn't part of the workforce, but "business hours" are ordinarily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- and the office is on the east coast ;)

But I'm sure you've meticulously read the past 3,000 articles I've written. You've taken quite a liking to me.. You're like my online shadow and it's really cute! (and guaranteed clicks lol)

Honestly though. I'm really flattered. I never realized that exercising my 1st amendment rights could affect a person that way it has deeply affected you. I find that interesting, and like I said earlier, cute. I mean, you must devote a lot of time to thinking about me, reading what I write, searching for my stories, etc etc etc. So much time that you're still whining on posts from a week ago and I've written at least 40 new pieces since then ;)

On a more helpful note -- if your husband is the only breadwinner in the home (no idea if he is, just making a suggestion) maybe you could spend all of this time following me around by.. working from home. Lots of housewives work from home these days. It helps the man out while he's out working and paying bills. You said your kids are in school during the day, so really all that time at home in front of your computer could be spent earning some money right?

And you could write all those things you wish I would write. That would take care of a couple of problems at once. Examiner hires just about anybody so you could start with them. Seriously, they take just about anyone, so certainly you could get hired by them. Examiner.Com -- you could write, make money and spend far less time obsessing over me (and whatever other online personalities you shadow)

And it could help in your loneliness and general feelings of not being useful. I understand. I mean, I don't have kids but I know a lot of moms who just went through a depressing slump after their kids were in school during the day. They find themselves with way too much time on their hands. So you should check out Examiner.Com and sign up to be a writer. It will help you feel like you're actually doing something, it will make you money and will help you allocate some of that vast amount of spare time you seem to have. :)

Oh, it'll also probably heighten your self esteem -- which will in turn make you a far more pleasant person in the long run. I can't tell you how much having a career has helped me in how I look at life, people and myself.

Holy Cow, Chelsea, have you ever heard of the word narcissist? I looked it up in the dictionary and wow your picture was on the definition, not this recent picture but the last one.

Do you honestly think you are smarter than everyone else? You insult people with your attempts at Wit and you dont come off sounding like a very good person its as if you think you are some superior person (See narcissist definition). Maybe you dont want to be a decent human being but I dont know if I would go around making sure people knew that I was that kind of person.

Lee thanks for sharing that there is actually a person writing about facts. I read the article and it was great, fair and balanced. I hope others that are tired of being directed to the writings of Ms. Hoffman know there is actually a few writers out there that provide facts instead of biased hateful opinions.

As for "insulting" people... It is truly not my concern if there are people out there who take offense at honesty, bluntness and my aversion to nonsense ;) Everyone has the option to move on if they don't like what they're seeing. Those who linger aren't really achieving anything if their presence is in negativity. (In case you haven't noticed)


Newsflash -- *most* of the online articles you read -- money or some other benefit goes to the person who writes the content. It's not a new concept to people who have had their computers and internet connections for longer than a month.

And... most of my readers understand that my career earns an income, as most careers do. McDonalds employees get paid to sell you burgers too, Allison. And writers get paid to bring you content. Surprised? Most people actually aren't.

Nice post. Looking at the linked article one of the boys drew a picture of the night with the mom in the trunk several months ago. The real tradegy is the authorities should have used this as evidence and prevented Josh from any further visitation. Instead the monster murders the two young boys. I'm hoping there is a special place in Hell reserved for the likes of this madman that would murder his wife and two boys.
