The Vampire Diaries season 3 continues this week with episode 14, "Dangerous Liaisons," and the Originals are throwing a ball. Klaus has his own motives for the party, which, of course, will turn violent.

According to a scan from TV Guide Magazine, Joseph Morgan has said Klaus "has a more human goal, and I don't think people will be disappointed by that." Speaking of a "human goal," he has also said that Klaus "will try to explore his human side," and it's really not surprising that "it's going to be difficult for him." Of course considering recent events, you have to wonder if Caroline's involved in that (they did share that chemistry-filled scene, after all), and Morgan did reveal, "There's a side to him that she hasn't seen before, and he hopes it will at least allow her to understand him a little." They are going to be at least dancing at the party, and that's sure to raise some eyebrows. Caroline has had a rough time lately—Tyler's sire-bond, her father refusing to drink blood and choosing to die instead—how will she react to and handle this latest development in her life? It's not like anyone can really trust Klaus after what happened, but you do have to wonder what this storyline will reveal about him—and if it will mean seeming some vulnerability from the hybrid.
