Flagging is a sport for fools!

I put up a post that is at best controversial about pit bulls. Some hate filled person with too much time on their hands flagged it for hate speech. Give me a break. I hope Gather tracks the person who flagged this article and kicks their pit bull loving butts off.

There was not one word of hate in the article. People who flag articles as hate speech when it is a difference of opinion are at best, ignorant and at worst hate mongers. I love Gather, and what I do hate are people who abuse the flagging system.

Flags should be used appropriately or not at all.

Good one! Seems like it's like waving the white flag of surrender when you don't want to think or be exposed to challenging ideas. Let the hurricane roar, I say! Otherwise if you bottle it up, it may erupt in unexpected ways. Thanks for posting this and all pit bull fanciers, please keep your dogs on short leashes (hate flaggers too)!!

I think those that put false flags out here, should be kicked off of here plain and simple... One libby one time went on a flagging frenzy and put it in her comments that she was going to do it... She flagged an article about Al Sharpton as hate speech against a man of the cloth... How stupid was this? Not one thing in the article about hatred.. SOme people do the flagging for spite against someone who wrote it...She made a fool of herself by doing this... and not to mention look at all the evil and insulting things that are said of people who believe in God , most of the time no ones flags those who are doing the insulting..

I cannot believe all the stupid, stupid things that are flagged.......it's really pathetic that some people have absolutely NO life whatsoever....they seem to get their "thrills" from flagging posts here on Gather....OMG!!!!!!!!!!! It's just sick.
Well, ya all wanna hear a really, really good one? I got a post flagged for a RECIPE.........yeah, you read it right.......a darn RECIPE was flagged...........some stupid fool made an "ignorant" remark.......I was so mad, I went and pulled it IMMEDIATELY.......
really, to flag a recipe....that's about as low as one can go......maybe the person couldn't cook and was jealous, I don't know.........

Or the nitwit couldnt read Nora... excessive flagging or so I thought was against the rules... Gather needs to give those that do this just for doing it, the boot... not play with them... no warnings, just make them go... there is no room on this site for morons...
