One evening, my mom noticed that Kyleigh was playing with the Rubik's Cube.
Seeing that one side was completely yellow, my mom was so excited and told Kyleigh to hold it for the pictures.
Kyleigh was surprised to see Grandma so happy. So she put up a show by twisting the cube away...
... and then re-twist it back to form the completed yellow side.
Needless to say, Grandma was so excited and showered Kyleigh with tons of compliments. We couldn't believe Kyleigh was able to put the yellow side together, even if it was only one color.
While my mom was still exclaiming with excitement, our family friend pulled me aside and told me quietly that he put the yellow side together earlier. Kyleigh just happened to pick up the cube.
I just thought it was funny that Kyleigh took all the compliments for granted and didn't bother to tell Grandma that it wasn't her achievement.
