glad she did okay with the surgery... my pug Roxy is on seizure meds 2x a day, one of them we get filled at CVS because my vet's practice is still a little new and it takes time to be able to prescribe "Schedule 2" drugs, which Phenabarbital is... She is also on Benadryl for her "puggie skin problems" itchy, dry... which she scratch or chew until its raw... the Benadryl helps alot so the Claritin will probably help with Emily's allergies...

Emily had some seizures , her last ones was last summer. We really don't know how old she is. She was abused and Eric brought her home. The guy told us a age but the vets thinks she is older and we do too. The vet also suggested science diet or iams. Before I would of said whatever but I got a sample from bzzagent and she did do better on it. I also got her a small bag today of Iams so going to give it a try. Boy the thing we do for them lol

Tell me about it! When I bought Roxy at 6 weeks old she cost $750, without AKC papers... I did a lot of research and we, as a family, came to the conclusion we wanted a pug! and that was in 2004 - when we made almost 60k a year.... That 750 was most of our income tax return and my kids were JONESING for a dog! so I gave them a choice, we get a puppy, no vacation this year, vacation for us was a few days in a cheap hotel room at the beach! yeah that whole American Dream was short lived... did our taxes today, its sick!! but that is a whole other post I could do to stir up political drama!

Roxy has a few tummy troubles and was on a diet of food that was prescription only from the vet.. SHE hated it! glad it was only for a couple weeks, we have used Nutro for dry kibble, since she was a pup, it is the "in between" top shelve at the vet or pet store or generic grocery store brand... Her and Max get 1 packet of Pedigree nasty smelling wet food at night... its like their snack cuz I don't think it has a whole lot of nutritional value but they love it and its routine... I have found that not "shaking" up their food routine helps too, so if you have found a brand that she does well with, you may want to stick with it... I find everytime we try to add "variety" to their food she doesn't react well...

During my first marriage we raised Pugs and Shar Pei's. Wow $750 with no papers. But at least she is loved

OH she is beyond loved... the puggies are spoiled babies... seriously, by all 5 of us!!! Speaking of my Roxy, its 307 am and I just came back upstairs, I heard my MIL yell and got up, Roxy had a seizure first one since 3/18/11....thankfully it was a mild one!

Was the WOW for 750 with no papers, expensive or cheap, in 2004 i think it was pretty much the going rate or below the average..

Poor baby. My dog has something wrong with her ear and I will have to get her to a vet for it.

Poor doggie. Rocky gets ear infections all the time and has a small lump on his inner ear flap right now. He is such a good boy and lets me clean his ears every day. Hope your dog does okay. They are just like your kids.

aww Hope Rocky's ears get to feeling better. Here shortly I am going to put an updated picture of her today. So far she is doing good
