Kate Gosselin and her ex-husband Jon gained fame for their TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8 (reduced to just Kate Plus 8 after their divorce.) While they may no longer have the show or the amount of fame that went with it, there are people who still follow the Pennsylvania residents.

Those who don't may not be aware that Jon recently split from his girlfriend of two years. While most people would take some time before jumping back into the dating game, Jon wasted no time. Radar Online reports that the father of eight was seen at a Berks County watering hole talking with a blonde haired girl.

Of course, just because two people are photographed together, it doesn't mean that they are necessarily dating. However, a source who witnessed the meeting between the two claims that it was much more intimate than just a talk over drinks.

The source tells the site, "I saw Jon walk in and take a seat at the bar. He was texting and watching the door. About ten minutes later a female with blonde hair came in and kissed him. They hugged and sat close together. The girl was rubbing Jon's back and leg and they looked happy and really into each other."

Is Jon Gosselin going through some sort of a mid-life crisis? He is only 34, but undoubtedly has a lot of stress. Besides having eight kids to support in a bad economy, he also doesn't agree with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, wanting to put the kids back in the spotlight. The kids were also close with Ellen Ross, so it seems to make even less sense that the two suddenly split. Was Jon perhaps seeing this new girl on the side which prompted the split?

Whatever Jon and Kate Gosselin do in their love lives is their business, as long as they keep the best interest of their children in mind.

This is just a mean piece of writting. Jon is not trying to be in the spotlight, why drag him in? Why drop lines suggesting something like he had a girl on the side? To what point? to show you can write bad gossip like anyone else? So if you believe thier love life is there business, then why write this stuff that is not substantiated. Just let him go. You can reserve the right to rip into him if he tries to get back into the spotlight like Kate.

I totally agree. This is just mean-spirited. Jon specifically said in his statement that that were going to "move forward in their private lives" and appears that he is. Why shouldn't he? He was the one who wanted marriage counseling, and Kate decided to end their marriage. She should have done everything in her power to save the marriage, and now that he is moving on, in a private way, you want to rake him over the coals for having a life? The person who should be taken to task here is Kate who takes the opportunity to diss him in public every chance she gets - whether it's on Twitter or on the Dr. Drew show. That attitude is far more damaging to the kids than Jon having a social life.

No, there is not the interest that you may think. I was OK with what you wrote until you made the nasty comment about the girl possibly being on the side while dating Ellen. Then you just stooped low and it was not necessary. What you are seeing in my emails is me correcting you, nothing to do about Jon. The rest of the article is fine and what someone would expect from this site. I just feel that at some point those writing need to refrain from adding to gossip. There is a difference between 'reporting it' and make it up. Again if he makes himself a public person again, you all can rake him over the coals, but why add rumors at this point?

Then based on your comment, I am interested in you writing an article about Kate sleeping with her married bodyguard. Since Jon is always the easy target and Kate's sheep are so quick to blame Jon for the divorce, let see if you have the balls to write about the real homewrecker...

I agree with the above comments. Leave Jon alone, he wants to remain private. As far as Kate, she loves the spotlight. The more people talk about her good or bad the better she feels. There is an article in Life Style magazine about her having lunch and sharing food with Steve. Write about that. If I knew fake Kate was in the magazine I would have not bought it. I'm going to have to flip through the pages more carefully from now on.
