Justin Bieber Reaches 17 Million Twitter Followers, Can He Topple Lady Gaga?

It bothers me that Lady Gaga can boast that she has more fans than Justin Bieber! How can Gaga have over 18 million fans? There's no doubt that Lady Gaga's little monsters are doing a big monstrosity - we suspect that her fans are simply sitting all day opening “FAKE” accounts to make her look good, to keep her in the number one position! Its not just the Little Monsters, it could be the Beliebers too! Our celebrities probably only have about half that number of real fans & followers!
It's so easy to open multiple FAKE twitter accounts, all u need is a "fake" email address & then press the follow button to make your hero or "idol" look good! They never use the account again since they have another MAIN account.
According to some opinions from 50% to 80% of accounts were opened not using real names & haven’t tweeted for 6 months! However if Twitter closed all the dormant accounts, then everyone would have a clear picture – only the real active fan accounts would remain open - we would be shocked to see the real numbers fall down to about a third of this!
So why doesn’t Twitter close the inactive accounts after 6 months? twitter is possibly trying to “FAKE” its own popularity! For example, look at Facebook – at the height of its popularity, the owner Mark Zuckerberg, was once offered many millions. He rejected the offer thinking its not enough! Soon afterwards Twitter became more popular than Facebook and now he cant sell even for a bargain basement price! So while Twitter is still number one, they may be trying to get a huge value from a buyer – its logically not the time to “SHRINK” the number of perceived users!
Its time for an "investigative" journalist to find out the real truth behind these fake (inflated) follower numbers! IT COULD WELL BE THAT JUSTIN HAS MORE “REAL” FOLLOWERS THAN GAGA !!!

Are you serious? You are obviously just another Belieber. Justin has soo many fans because Beliebers are the ones making multiple accounts to get him passed Lady Gaga. If you dumb it down, Justin is one of the most hated celebs out there. Adults don't like him, they just deal with him because of their kids, guys hate him, alot of females over the age of 18 don't like him. Lady Gaga really has more fans then Justin can imagine. Lady Gaga is loved from people of all ages. Justin is loved by a bunch of girls under the age of 17. That really is the reality. Now, don't get me wrong I don't hate Justin, not a huge fan. His music doesn't impress me at all. I can't relate to a 17 year old boy who doesn't know who he is but in reality Lady Gaga has real true fans, Justin doesn't. Lady Gaga deserves the top spot, she will be loved for a long time. Justin he probably won't.
