How I Met Your Mother season 7 is going to be addressing the Ted and Robin situation in episode 17, "No Pressure," and the press release that is now out reveals something very significant for those two.
HIMYM season 7 episode 17 "No Pressure" official description
"When Robin breaks up with Kevin, Ted confesses his feelings to her. Meanwhile, Barney is on a mission to find something private of Marshall and Lily's."
It has been teased for some time now that the CBS comedy would be addressing Ted and Robin's situation. Well, now it turns out they'll also be addressing the fact that Robin and Kevin do have an end date. That's not much a surprise, as with each episode that passes, you can't help but wonder when they would break up. Well, now it looks like "No Pressure" is the How I Met Your Mother episode which will be the end of Robin and Kevin (assuming she doesn't go back to him regretting she broke up with him).
However, she's going to have her hands full with her career and now Ted telling her about his feelings for her. Didn't it seem like Ted and Robin were over like that (or at least should be)? It's not too much of a surprise that Ted's returning to her though, since he is trying to figure out his future. He's seeing Lily and Marshall moving to the suburbs and getting ready to have a baby, and of course it's going to get him thinking about what he wants in his future. Since he's living with Robin—and they really probably should've put a stop to that before now, as much fun as it is to have them both living there—it just seemed inevitable for him to return to his feelings for her. Still, it's impossible not to still hope to see Robin marrying Barney in the future. Robin's always going to be a part of Ted's life, but it's probably best for them at this point—especially with him telling her how he feels about her again—to stop living together.
